First Thursday

December 5

Please join the Main Street merchants and the City of Walterboro on E Washington to celebrate the holidays and launch our new program called First Thursday. 

East Washington Street will be closed to traffic from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm. Come downtown to shop, dine, and play! Musical entertainment will be held at the Waterfall Plaza! This is a free event. 

Each month in 2019 we will continue this downtown event on the First Thursday of the month!

Whether it's improving one's penmanship, addressing wedding envelopes or creating unique art, calligraphy is for anyone who wants to try a fun, 2-hour class. Workshop fee of $25 includes instruction, guides, practice papers, calligraphy pen & materials to create a themed class art.

Veterans Day Parade

In honor of all of our Veterans, you are welcome to participate in Colleton County's Annual Veterans Day Parade on Sunday, November 11th. Lineup begins at 2:00pm at the Colleton Civic Center. Come and celebrate with us!  This year we are recognizing all Veterans' Family Caregivers.  Please complete the attached Parade Entry Form and return it to the Veterans Affairs Office by Nov. 5th.
