PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

Walterboro City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 6:15 P.M. in City Hall, 242 Hampton Street, to receive public comments on the following proposed ordinances:

Ordinance # 2017-13, An Ordinance to Amend the Code of Ordinances of the City of Walterboro, South Carolina, to Provide for Changes to Chapter 6, Buildings and Building Regulations.

CITY OF WALTERBORO MUNICIPAL ELECTION

The City of Walterboro Election Commission will hold a mandatory recount of votes cast in the November 07, 2017 General Election for Three (3) City Council Seats. 

This recount will be held on Thursday, November 09, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Colleton County Voters Registration and Elections Office, 2471 Jefferies Hwy, Walterboro, SC. 

Municipal Election Commission

Walterboro City Council will hold a Work Session on Monday, November 13, 2017, at 5:00 P.M. in Council Chambers at City Hall, 242 Hampton Street, to finalize the plans for the Walterboro Wildlife Sanctuary Discovery Center at 100 South Jefferies Boulevard.

The Walterboro Tourism Comission meets the first Thursday of each month at 12 pm in Shoney's Conference Room at 1177 Sniders Highway.

The Municipal Election Commission will hold a meeting on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 2:30 P.M. on the upcoming General Election to be held November 7, 2017. The meeting will be held at City Hall, 242 Hampton Street.
