Discover the Edisto River Canoe and Kayak Trail - Paddle #3 of 6

Join us on the Second Saturday ERCK Trail (ercktrail.org) Series. This is our #3 paddle of #6. We will meet up at the primitive campsite at Colleton State Park for coffee and sign in at 7:30 am, and by 8:00 we will start the shuttles.

This paddle will start where we left off last month - Minnie Gruber Rumph Landing and meander those 8 miles of twists and turns down the Edisto River, and end at Mars Old Field Landing. Mid way we will have the opportunity to venture into Indian Field Swamp, an area where few have had the opportunity to paddle. Quiet and full of Tupelo and Cypress Trees and knees - we are always hopeful for sightings of nature and birds.

We will have the primitive camping site reserved and can be used the night before and the night of ($5 pp) for those traveling and those just wanting to make a weekend of it. Contact Colleton State Park for sites with power and water - or those with RV's (843-538-8206)

Kayak / Paddleboard equipment rentals are available through Edisto River Adventures for $45, Shuttle Service available for those with their own equipment. Donations ($10) accepted to offset shuttle expense, for the entire series.
