Temporary Water Outages

Scheduled, temporary water outages can be expected in the area surrounding the Hwy 15/Academy Road intersection beginning Monday July 15 and ending Wednesday July 17.  Silver Hills Subdivision, Carolina Circle, Academy Acres and adjacent roads may be affected.  This outage will allow the City's contractor to connect newly installed distribution lines to the existing water main.  This project is necessary in order to accommodate the Department of Transportation's upcoming Hwy 15/Academy Road intersection improvements.  

Calhoun Street will be turned off Monday at 12:00pm and service is expected to be restored by 4:00pm.  

Academy Road will be turned off Tuesday at 1:00pm and service is expected to be restored by 5:00pm.

Portions of Jefferies Blvd will be turned off Wednesday at 12:00pm and service is expected to be restored by 4:00pm.

Wednesday's outage will involve Silver Hills Subdivision and Carolina Circle.
