Join us as we meet and greet live birds of prey, and learn about their lives and habitats.

Lowcountry Raptors goal is to help the human part of the natural community learn to value, understand, and honor the role of wildlife while preserving the natural and cultural heritage of the Lowcountry.

On Monday the 22nd of April Colleton, Jasper, Hampton and Beaufort counties are getting together for a mass Earth Day Cleanup. (See attached flyer) Your help is needed!
This event will also be in preparation for Rice Festival, the following weekend. Please make an effort to clean your adopted streets to tell all those who come to this city that we take PRIDE in our community.

The February 5, 2019 regular City Council Meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 6:15 P.M. at City Hall, 242 Hampton Street, Walterboro, SC.  

Join the Colleton Museum for a fun filled afternoon of TEAlight! The history of afternoon tea, proper tea etiquette, and how to brew the perfect pot of tea is shared. Audience members also learn the history of the teddy bear and Margarete Steiff, founder of the Steiff stuffed animal and teddy bear company. Rediscover the simple pleasure of afternoon tea with teddy.
