The Colleton County Office of Clemson Cooperative Extension Service will be giving away native bare root seedling trees in honor of Arbor Day on Saturday, December 2nd, at the Colleton Museum and Farmers Market, 506 East Washington Street, Walterboro SC. Trees will be available from 9:00 am- 1:00 pm or until all trees have been given away.
Selections include Yellow Poplar, Eastern Redbud, Southern Crabapple, Swamp Chestnut Oak, Bald Cypress, and Longleaf Pine.
The public is invited to a Brown Bag Lunch hosted by the Master Gardeners Association on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Noon in Room 222 at the Colleton Clemson Extension Office. Bring your lunch and join us to discuss gardening, horticulture, and plant problem questions. December's topic is "Planting Trees."
