Victory Lap 5K Run/Walk

Join us for the second annual Victory Lap 5K Run/Walk!  Race starts and ends on the campus of the Veterans' Victory House.  All participants will receive dog tags & refreshments at race finish.  High quality T-shirts guaranteed for all pre-registered participants; as supplies last for same-day registrants.  **Race day parking at Northside Elementary School**

Proceeds benefit the Veterans' Victory Group, a 501(c)3 organization that enriches the lives of Victory House residents.

Veterans Day Parade

Veterans Day is observed, November 11, 2017.  In honor of all of our veterans and in appreciation for their service, the members of the Colleton County Veterans Council wish to invite you to participate in our Annual Veterans Day Parade. This event will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2017, at 2:00 pm.

Veterans Service Day

The Colleton County Veterans Affairs Office is partnering with the Veterans Council and local service organizations to host a Veterans Service Day, Thursday, November 9th from 9:00am - 1:00 pm at the National Guard Armory in Walterboro.  This day will be a collaborative effort, set aside to say, "Thank You" to our veterans by Serving Those Who Served!  We are calling on all churches, schools, non-profit organizations and local businesses to support us in our efforts to sponor this Community-based event to show our appreciation.

Joe Hamilton of Walterboro, the founder of the Quality Deer Management Association, has compiled a lifetime of outdoor writing in his new book, "Firepot Stories: Collected Writing of a Naturalist, Conservationist, Wildlife Biologist, Sportsman and Raconteur," available at the Colleton Museum & Farmers Market. Join Hamilton for an afternoon reading and book signing in the Museum Marketplace, November 9th from 3-5 p.m. Free and open to the public. 

Family & Community Leaders Holiday Craft Fair

Clemson Extension’s Family & Community Leaders (FCL) will hold its annual Holiday House Craft Fair on Saturday, November 4, 2017. At the Colleton County Museum and Farmers Market. Only crafters selling handmade arts and crafts will be accepted; there is a limited number of spaces available.
