WHEREAS, April 11, 2019 marks the 51th anniversary of the passage of the U.S. Fair Housing Law, Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968, as amended, and the State of South Carolina enacted the South Carolina Fair Housing Law in 1989, that both support the policy of Fair Housing without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability and familial status; and

Walterboro City Council will conduct its 2020 City Council Planning Retreat beginning Friday, January 17, 2020 and running through Saturday, January 18, 2020 to be held at:
Wampee Conference Center, 1190 Chicora Drive, Pinopolis, SC 29469.
No formal action will be taken on any item at this retreat. Any action items will be brought back to a regular Council meeting for Council’s consideration.
Walterboro City Council meets on the first Tuesday of each month January through December. Meetings are held at City Hall, 242 Hampton Street, Walterboro, South Carolina beginning at 6:15 p.m.
City Council Meetings are open to the public. Agendas are posted online and on City Hall bulletin boards at least 24 hours prior to a meeting. Notice of called, special, cancelled or rescheduled board meetings are made in the same manner.
