The November 5, 2019 regular City Council Meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 6:15 P.M. at City Hall, 242 Hampton Street.

The October 2, 2019 Election Commission Meeting has been cancelled due to lack of agenda items.    

Jury Trials for Walterboro Municipal Court for the month of October will be held on the 9th at 9:00 am, NOT the 10th.  Please call our office with any questions or concerns, 843-782-1057.

Municipal Election Commission Meeting Notice

The Municipal Election Commission will hold its next meeting on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 5:00 P.M. to discuss the upcoming General Election to be held November 5, 2019. The meeting will be held at the Colleton County Voter Registration and Elections Office, located at 2471 Jefferies Highway (corner of Jefferies Highway and Academy Road).  

The Municipal Election Commission will hold its next meeting on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 5:00 P.M. to discuss the upcoming General Election to be held November 5, 2019. The meeting will be held at City Hall, 242 Hampton Street.  

Walterboro City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 6:15 P.M. in City Hall Council Chambers to receive public comments on the following proposed ordinance:
Ordinance # 2019-10, An Ordinance to Add Article XII (Loitering) to Chapter 20 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Walterboro, South Carolina.

Due to Hurricane Dorian, the September 3, 2019 City Council Meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 6:15 P.M. at City Hall.

The Municipal Election Commission will hold a meeting on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 5:00 P.M. on the upcoming General Election to be held November 5, 2019. The meeting will be held at City Hall, 242 Hampton Street.
